UNITIV PARTNER ANNOUNCES BREAKTHROUGH PROCESSOR

CUMMING, GEORGIA, February 16, 2016 – Unitiv, Inc. today announced that one of its partners has developed a breakthrough processor. Oracle has introduced the next offering in the Sparc-chip based server hardware.  The SPARC M7 chip advances the technology to give better performance, higher reliability and back-level support for applications that run on previous M-series chip versions.  Hardware encryption for improved security is a key feature as well as silicon shared memory for prevention of unauthorized intrusions.

Oracle has recently announced that it has introduced an all new family of SPARC systems built on the revolutionary 32-core, 256-thread SPARC M7 microprocessor. The systems feature Security in Silicon for advanced intrusion protection and encryption; SQL in Silicon that delivers unparalleled database efficiency; and world record performance spanning enterprise, big data, and cloud applications.

The new SPARC M7 processor-based systems, including the Oracle SuperCluster M7 engineered system and SPARC T7 and M7 servers, are designed to seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure and include fully integrated virtualization and management for cloud. All existing commercial and custom applications will run on SPARC M7 systems unchanged with significant improvements in security, efficiency, and performance. In addition, SPARC M7 is an open platform that developers can utilize to create new software that takes advantage of Security in Silicon and SQL in Silicon capabilities.

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top sales awards, business development awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.

The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, February 27 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. More than 500 executives from the U.S.A. and several other nations attended.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. Andy Meyers joins Unitiv as a Senior Account Executive. Mr. Meyers comes to Unitiv with over 15 years in the telecom industry.

Mr. Meyers specializes in Mobility including Enterprise Mobility Management, Hosted Communications, as well as Unitiv’s IHD ServiceDesk.

Fred Richards joins Unitiv as a Senior Solutions Architect. Mr. Richards joins Unitiv with over 15 years in the IT industry.
